Smoothies and Juices

We have been shopping at our local farmer's market since the past couple of months and its been such a joyful discovery. Fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs and nuts- at a very cheap price are the best deals i have ever found. Since i am not too keen about eating fresh fruits everyday, i usually blend up fresh juices and smoothies- good for health and yummy to boot.

Kiwi-Grape Juice

Serves 2

2 Kiwi (make sure the kiwi is sweet to taste)
1 pack of grapes-(2 lbs)- make sure they are sweet/not sour
crushed ice
SUgar to taste (Optional)

1. Blend up all the ingredients and serve chilled

Plum-Peach Juice

Serves 2

3 plums -make sure they are sweet (pits removed)
3 peaches (pits removed)
crushed ice
sugar to taste

1. Blend all the ingredients together and serve chilled

Very Berry Smoothie

Serves 2

4 strawberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup blackberries
2 cups milk (2% or whole)
sugar to taste

1. Blend all the ingredients and serve chille.
